Farm Practices & Standards

Are your chickens truly free-range?

Yes—our hens roam outdoors all day with access to a secure coop (10’x10’) and a 10’x30’ run. They forage naturally but receive supplemental non-GMO feed twice daily for balanced nutrition.

Why non-GMO feed?

Non-GMO feed avoids genetically modified ingredients, supporting healthier hens and higher-quality eggs. Our chickens’ diet includes organic corn, soybeans, and grains, free from synthetic pesticides or additives.

Do you use antibiotics or hormones?

No—our flock’s health is maintained through clean living conditions, natural foraging, and preventive care.

Egg Quality & Nutrition

Why are your yolks darker/orange?

Pasture access and non-GMO feed enhance yolk color and nutrient density (higher omega-3s and vitamins).

How do you ensure egg freshness?

Eggs are collected daily, refrigerated promptly, and dated for transparency. Unwashed eggs retain their natural bloom for extended freshness.

Safety & Protection

How are chickens protected from predators?

Our Anatolian Shepherd, Bear, guards the flock 24/7. His training ensures he deters threats (foxes, raccoons, birds of prey) while bonding with the hens.

Can I visit the farm to see conditions?

No—Our privacy and Safety is of the utmost importance to us. This is why we are willing to deliver.

Purchasing & Logistics

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes—inquire about pricing for larger orders (e.g., 5+ dozen).

How should I store farm-fresh eggs?

Unwashed eggs last 3–5 weeks refrigerated; washed eggs should be used within 3 weeks. For long-term storage, freeze beaten eggs (up to 1 year).

Expansion & Future Plans

Will you have more eggs as your flock grows?

Absolutely! Our current 35 hens will expand—follow us on [social media/website] for updates on availability.
